Master Bath Mini-Makeover

Ya know when you feel like you just need a new style?
Maybe some highlights or new make-up?
Well, the master bath was just screaming for it.
So we spruced her up: new paint color, new lights, new faucet, new towels and accesories.
I think it turned out lovely.
Just what it and I needed.

ps. I'm nearly done with a very special project in Kearyn's room. Hopefully it will all come together shortly. Stay Tuned.

Making me deliriously happy today...

*Kearyn's amazing one of a kind hand made crib bedding.
Made by the loving and talented Retta (calling her a family "friend" would be an understatement. I'm going with "bonus grammy")
This is just a sneak peek at the quilt. The dust ruffle & bumper are equally as cute.

*This lovely spring weather. And all the blooms on the trees.

*My new 4-slot toaster. (How did I ever live without you?)

*And of course these two adorable guys. Proudly sporting "Sounders" green for St. Patty's Day

No Kiddin?

FYI:
LilyTicker on my side bar (over there ----->)
says that I am 33 weeks
and that I may soon start to walk funny.
Gee, thanks for the newsflash.
But you're at least a week late.

On This Day

*Last night I found out that I can no longer sleep on my right side or my back. Doing either makes my sciatic nerve and pubic bone hurt like the dickens (didn't you always want to know that?)
*I am thankful for clean drinking water. Last night we went to the Children of the World concert and the focus was on contaminated drinking water in 3rd world countries and the thousands of preventable deaths. Rocked me and broke me to my very core.
*Watching two mostly sweet but almost always adorable boys eat Fruit Loops and Lucky Charms {respectively} at the table.
*Feeling sad that I didn't get to spend nearly enough hours with my extremely hard working hubby last week, but also feeling incredibly blessed that he works so hard to provide for our family.
*Excited about how much I love the new paint color in the master bathroom and can't wait until it's complete.
*Stew over how Drayson sings a jacked up version of O Canada, but still refuses to say "mom." He either refers to me as "dat" (that) or when he is trying to be especially snarky: Daddy (hello...it was I who birthed you!).
*Today I will: go to the grocery store, return stuff to Target (and attempt to not purchase much else), finish some projects for Kearyn's room (hopefully), take Caleb to hockey, throw in some laundry & dishes (a given), make ?? for dinner.

Lookee, Lookee...

Pictures
And lots of them
Without a lot of words
(the kind of post my Dad loves)

The boys "helping" Daddy install new faucets. We are doing mini revamps on our two bathrooms.

a partial peek of the hall bath (just in time for Lyssa's visit!)

Daddy & Drays ice skating

Caleb, Drays & Parker. A gazillion thank yous to my sis Jamie and Trav for taking the boys on a hike, so I could get some alone time.
I love me some hockey guys. Lately if the boys aren't driving me up a wall--they are playing hockey.
A mama update. 32 weeks this week. I think this might be as big as I was when I delivered both Caleb and Drayson and I still have 2 months to go. I know that I don't look that big, but I'm past uncomfortable for how tiny my frame is. For the past several weeks she has had a foot firmly planted in my rib cage. And if I walk or stay on my feet for too long I definitely "feel it." And for the past couple of days I have had waves of nausea reminiscent of my first 16wks (please say this is a fluke and not my pregnancy sickness returning).
